Who we are

Chris Bromfield, trading as BreederReady, operates this service from Woodview, Church Road, Gilwern, NP7 0HF, United Kingdom. For privacy questions or requests, email contact@breederready.co.uk.

Information we use and why

We use your name, account email, sign-in identifiers and subscription/payment status to provide your account and paid tools. This is necessary to perform our contract with you. Stripe processes card payments; we do not store your full card number or security code.

We store the establishment details, questionnaire answers, policies, animal records, customer details, invoices, contracts, expenses and supporting files you choose to enter. These are used to deliver your private workspace, exports and inspection tools. Only enter information you have a lawful reason to use. Avoid unnecessary sensitive personal information, especially human health information or identity documents.

We use support messages, licence-verification submissions and feature suggestions to respond to you and administer the service. We use technical logs, IP addresses and request information for security, reliability and fraud prevention, based on our legitimate interests in operating a secure service. We retain transaction information where needed for accounting and legal obligations.

Your customers’ information

You decide which customer information to enter and why. You remain responsible for informing your customers and handling their rights requests; we process those workspace records to provide the service on your instructions. We do not use your customer records for our own marketing. Contact us if you need help exporting, correcting or removing a customer’s information.

Providers and storage

Vercel hosts the application, Neon stores workspace records and uploaded evidence, Clerk manages sign-in, Stripe processes payments and Resend sends service emails. Incoming support email is forwarded by Forward Email to the operator’s Sky email inbox. Providers receive the information needed for their role. We may disclose information where required by law or to address a security incident. We do not sell personal information.

The production database is hosted in Ohio, United States. Hosting, authentication, payment and email providers may also process information outside the UK. Their published data-processing terms describe applicable transfer protections, including standard contractual clauses and the UK addendum where applicable. You can request information about the relevant safeguards from us.

How long information is kept

Workspace information is kept while your account remains open so you can retrieve saved work. Cancelling a subscription ends editing access according to your plan; it does not automatically delete saved records. You can request account closure and deletion by email. We assess what must be retained for outstanding payments, legal obligations, disputes or security before removing the remainder. Support and technical information is kept only for as long as needed to resolve the enquiry, investigate problems or meet those obligations.

Recovery copies can retain deleted information until the relevant backup expires. Scheduled database snapshots are retained for seven days; manually retained recovery snapshots may remain longer while needed for migration or incident recovery. Recovery copies are restricted to restoration and operational recovery. Download your own important records and supporting files; workspace data exports contain file references, and attachments must be downloaded separately.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your personal information. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email us to make a request or complain about our use of your information. We may need to verify your identity. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. We do not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you; generated policy drafts are guidance for your review, not council decisions.

Cookies and device storage

Account and payment services use cookies and similar storage needed for sign-in, security and checkout. The interactive demo saves example work on your device; clear your browser’s site data to remove it. Do not enter real customer information into the public demo. We do not currently add advertising cookies or marketing trackers. Your browser can block or clear cookies, but sign-in and checkout may stop working.

Security and changes

Access to saved records is restricted by account, connections use HTTPS and database recovery snapshots are configured. No online service can promise zero data loss; daily snapshot recovery may lose changes made after the selected snapshot. Keep your own copies. We will update this notice when the service or its handling of information changes.
